Spend more time with customers. In marketing, we are often too focused on landing new logos. But logos don’t buy your product, people do. Speak to your customers either in-person, over the phone, skype, or zoom. Don’t just ask them how they are using your product. Instead, try to learn more about them. What is their hobby? What is their favorite website? What keeps them up at night? Your customers are your buyer personas. The more you can understand them, the better you buyer personas and marketing will be.
